The MSR Titan™ Kettle 1400 mL is a lightweight and durable cooking pot with lid and a pouring spout. It is part of MSR’s new ‘nesting’ titanium range.
The MSR Titan Kettle 1400 mL is the larger of the two Titan Nesting pots. The 1400 mL capacity makes it suitable for boiling water or melting snow for two or more people.
Interior graduation lines allow for fast and easy volume measuring for dehydrated meals and drinks and an improved spout makes precision pouring easier for dehydrated meal bags.
Silicone-coated folding handles are more comfortable, and the snug-fit lid features a silicone hanger to keep it safely out of the dirt.
The entire Titan cookware collection nests together, often with a stove and/or fuel canister, so you can easily build your ideal cooking setup.
• Ultra lightweight & Durable: Weighs a mere 5.4 oz (153 g); titanium is half the weight of steel and twice the strength of aluminium.
• Precise Pour: Improved spout for easy pouring into dehydrated meal pouches.
• Folding Comfort Handles: Silicone-coated handles fold closed for packing and are comfortable to hold.
• Easy Measurements: Internal volume graduation marks for quick liquid measurements.

• Nesting: Nests with other Titan cookware, Titan Kettle 900mL fits inside.

Editor’s Comments.
I have used MSR’s original 850ml Titan kettle for many years and found it to be extremely durable and dependable. The excellent snug fitting lid and pouring spout are its defining features.
The new version’s redesign and well-thought-out nesting compatibility with the rest of the set will add versatility and practicality. Nothing beats the strength to weight ratio of Titanium cookware, but it has no non-stick coating and transfers heat directly to the water or food inside. As such, titanium cookware is best for water boiling and dehydrated meals or for heating very wet foods that need draining before serving. You can also heat soups and other wet foods, as long as you use a gentle heat and stir it regularly.
